HOW DOES THE TRICH STOP SYSTEM WORK?

The Trich Stop System is a multi-facted approach to treating trichotillomania. For best results we recommend using the entire system (manual, workbook and trich stop oil). There are various activities in the manual and workbook (journalising, visualization, etc) and we recommend using as many of the activities as possible.

HOW LONG BEFORE I SEE RESULTS?

You should start feeling relief from the urges to pull out hair almost immediately and if you use the method systematically, along with behavior modification by using the oil, you should start seeing a change in your behavior within a few weeks. Full hair growth will take about 8 weeks, but you should see your hair start to fill in within a few weeks. Remember  - it's a long process to completely stop hair pulling. So celebrate everyday you don't pull your hair out, and if you do slip one day, be kind to yourself and just start  again. Gradually you will become pull free.

WILL MY HAIR GROW BACK?

Yes, your hair will grow back. In some places it might be a bit thinner, but it WILL grow back.

CAN THIS SYSTEM BE USED WITH CHILDREN?

The system requires activities such as journaling and so is not appropriate for very young children (under 6). However parents can work though the book with children and often the manual and workbook supplies important talking points and information to help cure trichotillomania. In addition the Trich Stop Hair Regrowth Oil is made from all natural oils, and can be used safely with children.
